Webinar | Achieving CEnv - The Skills Required for a Successful Application

Webinar 5 pm-6 pm, 28 Oct 2020

A webinar on the skills required for CEnv qualification from the Society for the Environment

The Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) professional registration demonstrates that you hold the relevant environmental and sustainability skills within your profession at a Chartered level. But what are Chartered level skills for an environmental professional? And, if I do have them in my locker, how do I convey this on my CEnv application?

This webinar is designed to answer these questions, with the help of two experienced assessors of CEnv applications. These special guest assessors will draw from their experience of applications that sail through the process, those that tick the boxes efficiently and the submissions that aren’t quite there yet. They assess applications for the Institution of Environmental Sciences (IES) and the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management (CIWM).

Throughout the webinar reference will be made to the competences (skills, knowledge, experience and attributes) required to successfully become a CEnv. These competences and further information can be viewed here – it’s worth a read before the webinar.

A webinar brought to you in collaboration with the IES and CIWM. You can apply for CEnv registration via the IES, CIWM or 22 other professional bodies including CIAT.

The speakers will be:

Tina Benfield CEnv FCIWM CChem – Technical Services Manager at CIWM

Marilena Karyampa CEnv – Senior Consultant at Arup and Lead Assessor at the IES
