Chartered Architectural Technologist with care and residential experience required

- Lead projects across all stages of RIBA stages on care and residential sectors
- Project delivery and meeting/outlining deliverables

- Produce internal workflow to meet project milestones, deadlines and submission
- Planning and Building Regulations processes
- Briefing architectural staff as required to achieve project deadlines
Main tasks of job:
- Lead the design team towards a cohesive and rational technical solution which best meets the client’s brief and conform to the project brief and is technically responsible.
- Manage planning and statutory submissions, ensuring full compliance with planning policy, building regulations, fire safety, accessibility and sustainability requirements.
- Administer building contracts, chair site meetings and oversee progress, quality and compliance throughout construction – resolving technical challenges quickly and decisively.
- Coordinate architectural design with structural, MEP, surveying and project management teams to ensure clarity, integration and technical accuracy.
- Lead tender processes, evaluate contractor proposals and support procurement decisions that protect quality and design intent.
- Act as the day-to-day project lead for clients, consultants and contractors, providing clear communication, technical guidance and confident decision-making.
- Engagement with the supervision, management, development and mentoring of junior team members.
- Networking/promoting the business.
- Generating new business opportunities.
Requirements
- MCIAT
- Solid experience delivering projects through RIBA Stages 1–7.
- Strong capability across concept design, technical detailing, and contract administration.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit or equivalent.
- Experience in care, commercial, residential and SEN schools or similar sectors.
- Confident communicator, able to lead clients, manage consultants, and oversee project teams.
Salary & benefits
- £40,000 – £45,000 per annum

- Monday–Friday
- 08:30–17:00 (1 hour lunch)
