Beginning with networking and refreshments, the programme opens with a welcome from Her Estate Founder Elizabeth Adigun, followed by a thought-provoking film exploring the importance of women representation and the power of celebrating women’s leadership journeys.
The event features a guest lecture from Ruth Lin Wong Holmes, Vice President of the Landscape Institute, reflecting on the legacy of Brenda Colvin’s historic presidency and the ongoing influence of women in shaping inclusive design and policy. A dynamic panel discussion, hosted by Amaya Sophia Ahmed Co-Founder of Her Estate and including Ann Vanner FCIAT, will create space for honest dialogue and audience engagement with industry leaders.
Following a short break, keynote speaker Faye Allen FRICS Chartered Quantity Surveyor and author of Building Women – How everyone in construction can win — will share research-led insights and challenge the sector to address systemic barriers within industry. The afternoon concludes with a collaborative pledges session, inviting attendees to commit to tangible actions that advance gender equity, before closing remarks from Elizabeth Adigun.
