The morning session will focus on strategic frameworks, research, and implementation pathways for bio-based construction, including:

The morning session will provide a strategic overview of Ireland’s and Europe’s bio-based construction landscape, covering the Bioeconomy Action Plan, circular building roadmaps and material passports, energy considerations, carbon storage opportunities, innovation mapping across Ireland, regional support networks, and the key deliverables and implementation pathways developed through the CIRCULAR RENO project.

Following a short break, the programme will continue with a series of case studies from Ireland and across Europe, showcasing real applications of bio-based construction materials.

We will also introduce the afternoon site visits, including key project details and what participants can expect to see.

A bus will be waiting after lunch to bring participants through the Midlands for two exclusive site visits.
