This participatory workshop forms part of the BPTW Urban Design Lab and will explore belonging in the area between Greenwich Station and Deptford Creek.

Hosted as part of CIAT Chartered Practice BPTW’s open studio for the London Festival of Architecture, the session will begin with an introduction to the site and reflections by key invited guests, followed by a workshop inviting local residents and visitors to share ideas through collective drawing and sketching, guided by members of our team.

The event will kick-start a year-long programme of participatory urbanism aimed at transforming the neighbourhood. The ambition is to reframe masterplanning as a collaborative process, where local knowledge, lived experience and design expertise shape a shared vision that meets the needs of diverse communities.
