CIAT is pleased to announce a private walking tour for the CIAT membership as part of its collaboration with Shoreditch Design Week. The tour will take in several venues in Shoreditch including House of ICON at Shoreditch Town Hall, Material Matters at UNLOCKED, Wood for the Trees by AHEC, Mitre Mondays & Benchmark and more.  The walk will feature curated exhibitions, immersive installations, material innovation and brand activations taking in established design houses, emerging studios and international brands.

The Wax Building
The tour will kick off at The WAX Building, where attendees will be welcomed with a breakfast offering before exploring this creative hub showcasing a mix of lighting, furniture and experimental design. Discover work from Raw Edges, Tamart, Minimalux and Cozmo, with insight into innovative materials, product development and the thinking behind contemporary design.

Mandarin Stone
A tactile exploration of tiles, surfaces and materials, looking at how colour, texture, pattern and material choice can transform architectural and interior spaces. Expect practical inspiration alongside insight into current surface trends and applications.

Material Matters
A materials-focused stop exploring some of the most exciting developments in circularity, low-carbon design and material innovation. Discover work from Kenoteq, Matrix, Front and Biomason, with a focus on how new material thinking is influencing the future of architecture and the built environment.

AHEC installation
The AHEC installation, bringing material, craft and design thinking together through an immersive installation. The stop will explore the creative possibilities of timber and material-led design, providing a strong architectural element to the tour.

House of Icon
A chance to explore one of Shoreditch’s notable architectural landmarks while discovering a curated collection of international and emerging design brands, including Isola. The tour will finish with an exclusive introduction to 2LG Studio, ahead of their You Can Sit With Us talk at 12:30, offering the perfect opportunity to stay on and experience the wider talks programme.
