Are you a blogger?
The Construction Industry Council (CIC), the industry representative body of which CIAT is a member, is looking for guest bloggers.
Are you working in or with the construction industry? Interested in the idea of giving your perspective on an industry related subject? Perhaps there is something you feel particularly passionate about, and wish to share your reflections.
CIC would love to be able to share this across its membership base, providing an opportunity to engage with and receive feedback from members and further afield. Blogs are featured on the CIC website, in its newsletter and across its social media platforms.
Each blog should be:
- Original, succinct and informative
- Readable in short grabs so no more than 900 words in length (although topic will ultimately determine length - short paragraphs or bullet points to make the post easier to read)
- Opinionated – Please feel free to inject your personal opinions into your blog posts. What makes a blog interesting is the personal opinions of the blogger behind it
- Full of personality - Your blog post should reflect your personality and who you are.
- Write like you speak. Your unique voice is what makes your blog personable and interesting.
- Subject matter should be relevant to the audience
Who are the audience?
CIC’s audience is multi disciplinary and includes professional bodies, research organisations and specialist business associations in the construction sector. Its collective membership numbers some 500,000 individual professionals and around 25,000 firms of construction consultants. It has a social media reach of over 15k across its channels of varying interested parties within the industry.
