Global BIM and Scotland
A report has been published on the global implementation of Building Information Modelling and how this can help the introduction of BIM when it becomes a requirement on Scottish public sector work this April.
The report, which draws upon examples of BIM in countries as diverse as Norway, Qatar and Brazil, is linked with the recent BIM Scotland Conference where CIAT was represented by President Gary Mees.
David Philp, Chair of the Scottish Futures Trust BIM Working Group said 'This report helps us understand the activities that are happening across our globe from BIM to Digital Engineering and gives us valuable understanding of how digital is being applied across industry and what lessons we can learn in the forefront of this adventurous data age.'
