CIAT and EDGE partner for LFA sustainability event

A London Festival of Architecture (LFA) event from CIAT and EDGE featuring Chartered Architectural Technologists discussing how to design or retrofit your property to be more sustainable.

Working in partnership, EDGE and the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists are to present an evening of information and presentations to provide understanding and clarity on how members of the public can act now to design or retrofit their property to be more sustainable and reduce its impact on the climate.

This is an excellent opportunity for members and affiliates to attend with their clients to hear:

  • Information about EDGE and how visiting the showroom can be a valuable source of information about materials and products that can be used to create more sustainable building projects and living spaces.
  • A presentation from Giles Boon MCIAT, Chartered Architectural Technologist and a Passivhaus expert, to learn how a Passivhaus home can provide superior performance, reduced costs and foster an environment better for health and wellbeing.
  • A presentation from Anthony Jarvis MCIAT, Chartered Architectural Technologist and a retrofit expert, to learn how you could adapt your property to be more sustainable and understand how superior technical design can make your home more efficient.

There will also be an opportunity to visit the 'Ask an Expert' stand where members of the public can speak to a Chartered Architectural Technologist about their building projects and receive advice.

The event will be followed by drinks and nibbles and the chance to network with others interested in sustainability and the built environment. Reserve your place at the venue here.

For those unable to attend in person there will be a live link to the presentations on the night. Sign up here for online only.

We look forward to seeing you there! For more information or questions please contact [email protected]
