CIAT announces launch of Digital Society

CIAT is thrilled to announce the launch of the Digital Society, a virtual group focused on enhancing the Institute's involvement in standards and policies related to digital technologies, including BIM, augmented reality and AI.

This initiative will foster greater member engagement and broaden the representation of our community's perspectives, with opportunities for collaboration extending beyond CIAT.

The Digital Society will assume the responsibilities of our previous BIM Virtual Group. We are committed to forming a diverse team of both academic and professional experts to lead these efforts.

By participating in this initiative, you will play a vital role in shaping and advancing our profession’s digital innovation while equipping our members with essential digital skills and knowledge.

We invite you to the inaugural meeting of the Digital Society on 8 August from 14:00 to 15:30 via Teams. This meeting will be an opportunity to share your vision and expectations for the Society. Our goal is to ensure that the Society effectively addresses current digital issues while serving the interests of our members and discipline.
