CitA launches GDPR compliance course

CitA Skillnet, in partnership with IACT, are delighted to offer members in the Republic of Ireland an online GDPR Solution, used by businesses and Government agencies nationwide.
 
If your team has access to personal data, you need to guarantee GDPR compliance. This online solution will ensure each employee that completes the course will be fully prepared for the new regulations.
 
Employee Journey
The eLearning system is designed to be simple to use. The process for employees is as follows:

• Employees simply register by clicking a link that contains a unique code
• They then enter their name, email address and choose a password
• The course can be accessed from any internet enabled device
• The course consists of video, audio, text, images and ‘knowledge checks’
• The course takes approximately 40 minutes to complete
• At the end of the course there is a 20 Question online Assessment with a required pass-mark of 90%
• The assessment can be taken multiple times
• After passing the assessment, employees can download a Certificate of Completion

 
Course content
The course consists of 19 lessons and its content has been approved by a GDPR expert, Data Protection Officer and Barrister.
 
Course Details:

• Online GDPR content is provided – a short online course and an implementation toolkit
• This online course is being used by companies such as SFA, Tusla, An Post, Communicorp, Credit Unions and multiple Government Departments
• End-users watch the content, take an assessment and get certified
• Administrators can view progress and compliance by Business Department and employee
• For an additional cost, IACT can brand the portal, so your employees learn from within your brand
