Constructionline: advice on accuracy

Northern Ireland's Department of Finance issues statement

The following statement has been issued by the Department of Finance (Northern Ireland):

Following the recent launch of the new Constructionline online procurement platform, some suppliers have reported a number of issues regarding the accuracy of profile information held on the system for their firms. The Central Procument Directorate (CPD) in Northern Ireland has raised these issues with Constructionline, a number of which have since been resolved, and CPD has received assurances that the remainder will be rectified as soon as possible. In the interim CPD is liaising directly with Constructionline to verify the accuracy of each supplier’s profile on a procurement by procurement basis.

However, it is recommended that suppliers check their status on Constructionline prior to participating in any public procurement competition to ensure that their profile is up to date and that it satisfies the requirements of the particular competition. It should be noted that it is the supplier’s responsibility to ensure that all information held by Constructionline in relation to its profile is accurate and up-to-date on the date / time of submission of pre qualification questionnaires.

Despite the current issues, Constructionline has advised CPD that the new platform will offer suppliers numerous benefits in terms of functionality and new features. Further details on these can be found at the following link: https://www.constructionline.co.uk/products-services/our-new-platform/
