Around The Houses

Around The Houses is a new cycling sportive in support of Shelter Scotland and the CIAT-supported charity the Architects Benevolent Society (ABS) taking place on Sunday 5 August 2018.

The event follows a 60km route in the Glasgow area, travelling through some of the finest cycling roads in Scotland. There are several stops and houses, designed by local architects, to pass through the route.

A feed stop is arranged at Paper Igloo's Ostro Passiv House in Kippen offering participants a unique opportunity to learn about this exemplar low energy home whilst enjoying a hot brew and some home baking.

Around The Houses is supporting the Architects Benevolent Society and Shelter Scotland with the proceeds of the entry fee and sponsorship raised being split evenly between both charities.
