Join inaugural Climate Society meeting

CIAT is thrilled to announce the launch of the Climate Society, a virtual group focused on enhancing the Institute's involvement in standards and policies related to climate change.

This initiative will foster greater member engagement and broaden the representation of our community's perspectives, with opportunities for collaboration extending beyond CIAT.

The Climate Society will assume the responsibilities of our previous Climate Taskforce. We are committed to forming a diverse team of both academic and professional experts to lead these efforts.

By participating in this initiative, you will play a vital role in advancing our profession’s commitment to tackling crucial environmental challenges, with the potential to influence policy and contribute to effective solutions aimed at achieving net zero.

We invite you to the inaugural meeting of the Climate Society on 9 July from 13:00 to 14:30 via Teams. This meeting will be an opportunity to share your vision and expectations for the Society. Our goal is to ensure that the Society effectively addresses current environmental issues while serving the interests of our members and discipline.
