Promoting CIAT overseas

The Institute’s President Gary Mees, and Chief Executive, Francesca Berriman MBE are currently attending the National Building Design Conference in Queensland, Australia. 

Invited as the Conference’s Keynote speaker, Francesca will address the changing role of design in the 21st century and the critical role Architectural Technology professionals have to play with an emphasis on working with others within and also outside the construction industry. 

Following the Conference, the team will be meeting with a range of organisations, educational institutions and practices in Sydney to continue and further develop CIAT’s work in the Australasia Centre. 

Earlier this week, Education and International Director, Tara Page visited the Hong Kong Centre and is now travelling to Melbourne, Perth and New Zealand for further meetings to promote the discipline of Architectural Technology in a global context.
