Consultation on the future of the planning system (Scotland)
Places, people and planning - A consultation on the future of the Scottish Planning System
CIAT has been advised of a consultation on the future of planning in Scotland. The consultation paper "Places, People and Planning" sets out 20 proposals for change which aim to strengthen the planning system and support sustainable economic growth across the country. The proposals build on the recommendations of the independent review of the planning system.
The details of the consultation can be accessed here.
In order for CIAT to represent its membership and their views, it is essential that we receive their comments and views to enable us to collate and effect change in our industry.
The consultation closes on 4 April 2017, but please ensure that any comments are copied to Graham Chalkley, Assistant Practice Director at [email protected] by Friday 24 March 2017.
Although this consultation applies to the Planning System in Scotland only, we would welcome any comments that members from other Regions may have.
