Several awards for CIAT practice

CIAT-registered practice Hampton Architecture, of Solihull, West Midlands, has recently received several awards.

Their project at Warwick Road, Knowle, Solihull, (shown above)  has been awarded the Built In Quality Award for best extension or alteration to an existing building.

Using permitted development rights, the practice was able to secure approval for a sizeable extension to an existing house within the green belt, creating a multi-purpose open plan space with vaulted ceiling that has transformed the existing family home. 

The practice has also been shortlisted for the LABC West Midlands Building Excellence Awards and has received two awards from Building Magazine for projects
in the West Midlands and Warwickshire.
