'The discipline of Architectural Technology is a young, creative, vibrant and exciting one and a respected career to choose. It provides practitioners the chance to lead projects from the initial design to the final sign-off of a completed building; that is a real achievement. Visit www.ciat.org.uk for more information.

'With skills shortages the careers and opportunities available are endless and provide options for all if you visit www.goconstruct.org/ this will give you a flavour of the choices available. The future of the built environment is positive, with the opportunity to create places and communities it is your chance to leave your mark.'
