Support the profession and become a Supervisor/Referee for Chartered Membership

Supervisors/Referees play an important role in the qualifying process to Chartered Membership and help ensure that candidates meet the standards set out within the MCIAT Professional and Occupational (POP) Record or Professional Standards Framework for Chartered Membership.

As a Referee/Supervisor you will need to be able to maintain a good relationship with the candidate, help clarify the Institute's required competence standards and plan and participate in meetings with the candidate, as and when required. In some instances, this is a paid role agreed between the candidate and yourself.
