Survey | Understanding the learning experiences of Architectural Technology professionals in BIM

Closes today.

A message from Dai Evans MCIAT:

As a Chartered Architectural Technologist, I am passionate about our profession and how we adopt and implement new technology and ways of working. One thing that has fascinated me is how the Architectural Technology profession is utilising BIM and information management workflows. There is a lot of information out there but very little with a focus on our profession. As a result, I am currently pursuing a Professional Doctorate at Leeds Beckett University to try and help close this knowledge gap.

As part of my Professional Doctorate study and to gain an understanding of the current BIM experiences and competencies of Chartered Architectural Technologists and Architectural Technology professionals, along with what they see as valuable attributes for practitioners and graduates, I would like to invite you to participate by completing a questionnaire via this link here.

I would appreciate your time to complete the questionnaire as your opinions are of high value and will give a broader understanding of where the profession is currently. The questionnaire should take no longer than 20 minutes to complete.

The findings will be used to develop a framework which may be used by Architectural Technology programme providers to assist them in incorporating BIM and assessing BIM learning outcomes to enhance the knowledge and understanding specifically for the Architectural Technology profession.

It would be appreciated if you could complete this questionnaire by 30 June 2022.

Thank you in advance for your participation and if you would like any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me via email [email protected]
