Test and trace to be expanded to smaller employers and the self-employed

The next phase of the test and trace programme will expand the provision of testing to smaller employers and the self-employed where people cannot work from home, as part of local authority community testing plans.

This is according to information provided by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.

NHS Test and Trace are working with local authorities to establish testing for employees of smaller organisations (<250 employees) and contractors who cannot work from home in the community.
