About You
You care about whether something can be built, not just whether it satisfies a requirement on paper. You see drawings as a tool for communication, enabling construction to happen clearly and effectively. You think in systems. You can break down a project into clear steps, identify what information is needed, and plan how to move from concept to buildable solution. Your work has been tested in construction, and you are comfortable standing by and explaining your decisions with building control, consultants, and on site. You take ownership of outcomes, not just tasks, when you spot an issue, you raise it early and see it through to resolution. You value collaboration and design coordination, and believe drawings are only complete when they give the contractor what they need to build. You are looking for a role where you can take real ownership of projects and grow into the role of a design-led Principal Designer for Building Regulations.

Why Join Us?
Cityzen is a compliance-led design practice focused on producing information that can be built. We act as the link between design intent and construction, translating vision into clear, coordinated, buildable solutions that contractors can rely on.

We are seeking a Senior AT to take on a project lead role, responsible for the technical design and delivery of projects from Stage 3 through to completion. We are a small team you will be contributing to the success of the team and working closely with contractors and consultants. You will lead projects, take ownership of technical outcomes, and remain hands-on in delivery with the opportunity to grow into greater responsibility within a team that values compliance, buildability, and clarity.

If this resonates, send your CV and a short note on why this role appeals, and what you’re seeking in your next career move.
