Members and affiliates can apply for CSCS cards to prove professional status whilst on site. These cards are increasingly demanded as proof of occupational competence by contractors, public and private clients and others. See below to find out which card you can apply for:

The Professionally Qualified Person's Card (PQP)
- You must be a Chartered Architectural Technologist - MCIAT or FCIAT.
- Pass the Managers and Professional Level Health, Safety and Environment test.
- Submit a copy of your membership card with your application to confirm current membership.

The Academically Qualified Person's Card (AQP)
- You must be an Associate member or an affiliate with a relevant academic qualification (HNC/HND/FdSc/degree or above).
- Pass the Managers and Professional Level Health, Safety and Environment test.
- Submit a copy of your HNC/HND/FdSc/degree with your application.

Trainee Card
- You must be a student member or an affiliate without a recognised academic qualification.
- You must pass the Operative Level Health, Safety and Environment test.
