Background
The Welsh Government is consulting on reforms to the regulation of higher-risk buildings (HRBs) in Wales, including addressing:
- Dutyholders and competence
- Golden thread information
- Gateway processes for HRB work
- Mandatory occurrence reporting
- Compliance and stop notices
- Local Authority HRB work
- Wider changes to building regulations
CIAT is preparing a centralised response which will be submitted to Welsh government on behalf of the membership, and you are invited to attend this workshop on Monday 19 May at 14:00, to contribute to the response, including providing personal expertise.
