AT Awards 2023 | Student Awards Finalists announced

The Finalists have been selected by the Judging Panel for The Student Award for Excellence in Architectural Technology – Project and Report.

Designed to recognise excellence in Architectural Technology globally, the AT Awards | Students are open to students, based both nationally and internationally. They comprise of two categories:

  • The Student Award for Excellence in Architectural Technology (Project)

  • The Student Award for Excellence in Architectural Technology (Report)


The Finalists for The Student Award for Excellence in Architectural Technology (Project) are:

  • Callum Matthew Craske for The Hide - Centre of Environmental Safeguarding
  • Dylan O'Connor for The Hex Building
  • Edis Fodolovic ACIAT for Local Roots Revival
  • Gediminas Laurinaitis, Jonathan Skov, Márton Fehér and Wiktoria Rzymska for Green View Park
  • Jack Buckley ACIAT for Sirocco Quays: Multi-Generational Residential Scheme
  • Julia Aleksandra Szymborska for Sirocco Quays - Belfast

 
The Finalists for The Student Award for Excellence in Architectural Technology (Report) are:

  • David Blackburn for An Investigation into the Impact of Alternative Stabilisers, Aggregates and Additives on the Durability and Compressive Strength of Rammed Earth for Use in a Healthcare Setting 
  • Jack Buckley ACIAT for Reconstructing the Facade: An Investigation into the Fire Issues Surrounding Ventilated Rainscreen Cladding
  • Jack Fleming for Hemp Lime Composite as a Natural Building Material for Proposed Walls in Irish Construction 
  • Saif Wasim for An Investigation into Improving Communication to Students with Enhance Remote Learning Experiences 


The Winners will be announced on Friday 20 October at the Village Underground in Shoreditch, LondonTickets are on sale now to all. CIAT student members can purchase tickets for £25. Ticket sales close soon!
