New group for BIM in heritage
A new initiative, BIM4HERITAGE, has been set up which follows the merger of a project from the Council in Training of Architectural Conservation (COTAC) and a similar group run by architect Idonis Jesus, and counts influential members from the National Trust, English Heritage, Scottish Heritage and Ramboll, the consulting engineering group.
A new website has been set up which gives further information: www.bim4heritage.org
The next BIM4HERITAGE meeting is due to take place on 22 July 2016, and feedback from this meeting and other meetings will be passed on as and when we receive it.
Many thanks to Steve Scaysbrook MCIAT for advising us on this new scheme and for also setting up the BIM4HERITAGE website.
