Building Control in England – share your views
In line with the recommendations of the Grenfell Tower Fire Inquiry, BCIP has been set up to review the functioning of Building Control in England, and determine (i) whether it is in the public interest for building control functions to be performed by those who have a commercial interest in the process, and (ii) whether all building control functions should be performed by a national authority.
BCIP has launched a call for evidence to inform this work. CIAT will be responding to this important consultation, and we are keen to ensure that the profession's concerns are fully reflected in this response. We invite members and affiliates to complete this short survey to share their views.
Please submit your response by 09:00 on Tuesday 26 August.
