CIAT and KF Collaborative Agreement

CIAT is delighted to publish its revised Collaborative Arrangement with its fellow organisation Konstruktørforeningen (KF), Denmark.

The Arrangement recognises the two organisations' mutual objectives in relation to the growth and development of Architectural Technology through education and practice, and by seeking recognition for its members and affiliates, promoting and facilitating networking opportunities and supporting each other on relevant initiatives.

The Collaborative Arrangement allows for Bygningskonstruktør who are also full members of KF and who hold the ATCM degree to be accepted by CIAT for Associate membership (ACIAT) or affiliate status, and recognises them for exemptions from the education requirements of CIAT’s process for Chartered Membership*.  In turn, KF will accept members or affiliates of CIAT with a CIAT-Accredited qualification or Chartered Architectural Technologists (MCIAT) as full members*.

*Subject to completion of the necessary administrative processes, compliance with the relevant Codes of Conduct and payment of the appropriate fees.
