CIBSE Technical Symposium 2026

The symposium will take place on 26–27 March 2026 at Loughborough University. The 2026 theme, Fit for 2050: Redesigning Spaces for Wellbeing, Inclusivity, and Sustainable Performance, will explore how building services and design can respond to long-term climate, health, and social challenges.

Topics include climate resilience and adaptation, embodied carbon and circular design, indoor air quality, low-carbon heating, sustainable cooling, inclusive design, post-occupancy data, collaboration across disciplines, and the application of AI in building services. In 2025, the symposium welcomed over 200 delegates and nearly 100 speakers, highlighting its role as a key forum for technical discussion and knowledge sharing.

Registration is now open, with early bird rates available until 27 February 2026.
