Foundations for the Future
The Construction Youth TrustConstruction Youth Trust has created an exciting new programme that brings the construction industry to life within schools. The programme sees teams of industry volunteers deliver a series of workshops to young people in a partner secondary school. The Volunteers Industry Contribution A team of 6-14 volunteers will receive bespoke training and resources to deliver a series of inspirational workshops in their partner school across the academic year. The primary contribution from industry partners will be volunteer time. It is expected that average volunteer time will amount to 25 hours per volunteer across the academic year (Sept – July). Industry partners will also be expected to cover any costs associated with volunteer participation. To find out more please contact Ellen Shields, Schools and FE Coordinator.
