CIAT Fire Taskforce
Since the Grenfell Tower Fire in June 2017, CIAT has been actively involved and engaged with Government(s), various taskforces and committees to contribute to improving practices and to ensure that fire safety and information on this topic is readily available to our members.

The CIAT Fire Taskforce is currently a virtual group and is the principal platform where information and requests to assist the Institute with consultations and calls for evidence are communicated.

We are encouraging all Chartered Members with traditional qualifications and in particular the specialist skills relating to the ability to assess fabric and materials in relation to safety, to join this Taskforce. If any Chartered Members are interested, please contact Graham Chalkley in the Practice and Technical Department at [email protected] for an Expression of Interest form.
