The NHBC Standards define the technical requirements and performance standards for the design and construction of new homes registered with us and provide guidance on how these can be achieved.
NHBC Standards 2024 is the current version and available to view online. It applies to every NHBC registered home whose foundations were begun on or after 1 January 2024, applying throughout the UK, unless otherwise stated.
