Usman Yaqub FCIAT becomes President Elect

Usman Yaqub FCIAT, Director at Studio Yaqub, will become President Elect in November.

At the Council meeting held on Saturday 7 September, Usman Yaqub FCIAT was elected as President Elect in the Honorary Officer elections.

The role formally commences on 16 November 2024, with one year as President Elect, followed by a two year Presidential term. Usman will become the Institute's 32nd President.

Usman said:

It is truly an honour to be elected as President Elect, the first from the Muslim community, and I look forward to working together on a range of initiatives and particularly in line with my manifesto goals of value, develop and retain.

 Elections for Honorary Treasurer and Vice-President Technical also took place.

Stacey Taylor MCIAT was elected to the role of Honorary Treasurer and Dan Rossiter FCIAT was elected as Vice-President Technical. They will also assume their positions on 16 November 2024.
