Is there parking available at the venue?
There is an NCP car park on Thames Exchange on the north side of Southwark Bridge (open 24 hours, seven days a week). This is a 9-minute walk from the Underglobe.
Limited parking is possible on New Globe Walk and the surrounding area on display of a blue disabled badge.
Black cabs may be found all year round on Southwark Bridge, London Bridge and near to train stations.
Is step-free access available at the venue?
The entrance to the venue is not step-free, however step-free access is available at an alternative entrance. Please let us know at the point of booking if you would prefer step-free access and a member of our team will meet you on the night to guide you through.
Once inside, is the venue fully step-free?
What is the lighting like inside?
The room is lit quite dimly with stage lighting – the type of lighting you might expect in a music venue or wine bar. The lights will change and move during the awards presentation.
What is the sound like inside?
There will be background music before and after the event, but this will be at a level you can comfortably talk over. There will be general noise from the crowd and the bar/catering operations. During the event there will be louder music and films shown. There will be clapping and cheering as people come to collect their awards.
Is it possible to reserve seating for the duration of the event if required?
Yes, please let us know when booking your ticket and we will ensure seating is reserved for you as needed.
Are there any expected sensory elements to be aware of (e.g. music, live performances, crowd noise)?
There will be music playing over the speakers and films with music shown during the event. There will be some flashing imagery. The event will be busy but not overcrowded.
Will earplugs be available for guests?
Yes, a small number of earplugs will be available at sign-in.
What is the format and layout for the event?
The event will be relaxed and friendly but professional. At the start of the event there will be networking with mixed seating and standing. During the awards presentation there will be theatre style seating with seats allocated in advance. After the awards presentation the event will return to mixed seating and standing with networking.
Can the venue cater to dietary requirements, including allergens and religious diets?
Yes, please provide your dietary requirement at the point of ticket purchase. Please note that if your dietary requirements are not provided at least 2-weeks in advance of the event we cannot promise a fully catered experience.
Are carers or personal assistants permitted, and are there any policies regarding their attendance (e.g. complimentary access)?

Are assistance dogs permitted throughout the venue?
Yes, assistance dogs are welcome at the venue and AT Awards.
