Webinar | Knowledge Exchange Session: Building Modelling for ATs
CIAT Scotland East Region are proud to introduce BIM Academy and Vectorworks as keynote speakers at the opening event in our Building Modelling for ATs sessions, as part of the Knowledge Exchange series.
Speakers will be discussing and providing examples of how the fundamentals of building information modelling and meta data can be applied to real-world projects, with a tutorial on integrated software for sustainable building designing within the BIM-workflow.

Dr Melanie Robinson – BIM Academy Project Manager, discussing:
- how far our industry has come with applying BIM principles
- the future BIM standards, processes and workflows
- lessons learnt from BIM Academy projects
Mark Mullany – Vectorworks Training Manager, discussing:
- the evolution of BIM into the various tangible software
- the application and implementation of BIM theories into construction workflows
- the fundamentals of knowing when a project is applying BIM standards
Luka Stefanovic – Vectorworks Architecture Industry Specialist, providing a tutorial on:
- the importance of sustainability criteria within the BIM software
- insights and a tutorial to Vectoworks' new Energos sustainability modeller
- the power of exploring low carbon and Passivhaus standards early in the design stage
