Directors of Local Authority Building Standards Scotland (LABSS) Hub discuss changes that members and affiliates need to know.

Scotland has recently seen major changes to the Building Regulations including restrictions on type of permitted heating systems in new builds, larger extensions and major retrofit works. With the Scottish Government ongoing Consultations feeding into the Just Transition Plans, Scotland East Region have asked Directors of the Scottish Building Standards Hub James Whiteford and Alan McAulay for a discussion on their current work, future plans and to answer questions from our members about practical, technical and aspirational aspects affecting wider construction industry. We will discuss relationships between Building Standards Hub and LABSS.

The session will be chaired by Past President Gary Mees PPCIAT MCIAT.
