Manchester | Tour of IGNITION’s Nature-based Solutions Living Lab

A guided tour of IGNITION’s NBS Living Lab at the University of Salford.

The Living Lab has been developed as part of the IGNITION project and showcases a variety of NBS climate mitigation solutions. It also produces evidence to inform investment schemes based on real-time data, raising awareness of the economic, environmental, and well-being benefits of such technologies.

You will receive a full guided tour of the NBS Living Lab and will witness first-hand how the integrated water management system connects SuDS-enabled street trees and rain gardens with an extensive green-blue roof and a living wall.

Come and hear from some of the experts involved in the inception, design, and delivery of the Living Lab, and seize this valuable opportunity to further understand the practical implications of urban NBS implementation and management.
