Role

The Built Environment Programmes are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and lecturer in the Built Environment to teach on the BSc (Hons) Architectural Technology programme. You will have proven academic and industry experience with extensive knowledge related to core practice in ethical and sustainable construction methods and in particular, expertise in two of the following; retrofit and adaptation of existing buildings, passive environmental building solutions, circular economy, modern methods of construction and BIM. The role is on a full time (37 hours per week), permanent basis.

Ideal candidate

You will have an awareness of the current HE education context in the UK and abroad, with a knowledge of a blended learning delivery of built environment subjects. You must have a working understanding of CIAT accreditation and criteria. Other duties will depend upon the background of the appointee, who will be expected to make an enthusiastic contribution to the life of the school and faculty and its partnership programmes.
