Role Description

LBA are seeking a talented, experienced Architectural Technologist with 8+ years of experience to join our creative team. We are looking for the individual to have exceptional technical and design skills together with past experience in multi-sector projects, student housing experience would be preferred but not essential. The role would primarily involve full immersion into the design and technical delivery of varying scales of residential and commercial projects. The position will be based on our rural office situated just outside Kinross and we look forward to welcoming our new team member in due course.

We are looking for candidates who are/have:

• Technically proficient with experience on all stages of the job.
• Ability to think creatively and come up with positive design detailing that is grounded in a commercial awareness of their work.
• Thorough understanding of residential projects, regulations and building standards in Scotland.
• Experience in multi-unit residential developments, student accommodation and commercial projects
• Accurate and have a high attention to detail and want to get the best quality for the projects.
• Friendly, motivated and creative, out-of-the-box problem-solver
• Proactive and organised, with excellent record-keeping.
• Strong CAD skills, ideally in ArchiCAD.
• Someone who shares our team values.
• Note that this role will involve local travel and a driving licence will be required.
