As a result of on-going success and UK wide project wins, we are now seeking to appoint a Senior Architectural Technologist or architect to join our team in beautiful rural surroundings in South Leicestershire/North Northants border and to play a major part in taking the business forward.

This is a great opportunity for someone seeking to further develop their skills and experience within a forward thinking and progressive architectural design practice. You will need to be a Chartered Member of CIAT or RIBA and have a minimum of 8-10 years’ experience working for a UK based architectural practice. For this key appointment we’re looking for a combination of technical ability and commercial acumen coupled with the drive and determination that should/ could see you quickly progress to Associate.

Job description
Technically you should be able to demonstrate hands-on proficiency in the production of planning application, construction/tender drawings, specifications and possess solid knowledge of current UK Building Regulations. Experience of using Archicad would be a distinct advantage but not essential as we will consider setting up the right candidate with Revit. In addition to your technical skills the ability to successfully manage UK wide on-site projects, mentor colleagues and take the lead when required will all fall within your remit. The applicant will be required to work on commercial, leisure + hospitality projects varying between £250k - £5m throughout the UK. Experience of detailing commercial steel framed, metal clad buildings is essential as is working on same structures for complex refurbishment projects. You will be liaising with clients and main contractors so a confident personality with good communication skills is a must. In addition, you will have a can-do attitude, be reliable and consistent, be a flexible problem solver and decision maker. Finally, you will be effective with time management, communication and interpersonal skills and be actively supportive within the team.

Salary
Salary up to £45k depending on relevant experience and qualifications
