Consultation: New Build Heat Standard – Scotland only (closing date – Monday 22 February 2021)

Your views invited.

CIAT has been advised of a consultation on a New Build Heat Standard, which is applicable to Scotland only.

The Scottish Government is committed to ensuring that, from 2024, new buildings must use heating systems which produce zero direct emissions at the point of use. They are currently developing their New Build Heat Standard to achieve this, and the aim of this consultation is to set out a high-level vision for the new Standard.

Further information on this consultation and where you can download the consultation paper can be found at the link here.

If you wish to contribute to the Institute's response to this consultation, please forward your comments to Graham Chalkley, Assistant Practice Director, at [email protected] by Monday 22 February 2021.
