CPIc archive microsite now live
CPIc was the Construction Project Information Committee, responsible for providing best practice guidance on the content, form and preparation of construction production information (CPI), and making sure this best practice was disseminated throughout the UK construction industry.
The Committee was formed from representatives of professional institutions which ensured that the guidance provided had a solid foundation within all branches of the industry, including:
- CIAT
- RIBA
- RICS
- ICE
- CIBSE
- CIOB
- UKCG
- LI
CPIc promoted the quality of design information and collaboration in the design process. It authored and managed the Uniclass2 classification system, which formed a core part of the UK government's PAS1192:2 document.
CPIc also provided guidance on all aspects of project information management including life cycle costing and sustainability.
