Southampton Solent University course ranked 15th in Guardian University Guide
The Guardian University Guide ranks universities and courses on factors including teaching quality, student satisfaction and graduate outcomes.
The BA (Hons) Architectural Design & Technology degree is professionally accredited by CIAT. Students have the opportunity to work on real industry briefs, developing projects from concept through to technical design. They also present their work to employers and the public at Solent's end-of-year summer show, which has previously led directly to graduate job offers.

Our graduates leave Solent with the skills, confidence and adaptability needed to succeed in a rapidly evolving built environment sector. It also highlights the calibre of teaching across our architecture courses, where passionate and experienced academics work closely with students to help them realise their potential and achieve outstanding outcomes.
The course ranked second out of 57 institutions for satisfaction with assessment, with 95.6% of students satisfied with how they are assessed. Its graduates have gone on to work at architectural practices including Corstorphine & Wright, ADAM Architecture, HPW, HGP Architects, Noviun Architects and HNW Architects, as well as within local government.
The provision also performed strongly for continuation, ranking 21st out of 56 institutions offering the same or similar courses, with 94% of students continuing on to the next year of study.
