This CPD will introduce attendees to the Government’s response to the Part L consultation, focusing on the proposed timetable to introduce Part L reviews - in particular 21 and 25, as well as the Future Homes Standard.

The session will review Government’s commitment to a 'fabric first approach' to zero carbon through regulations. Attendees will gain an understanding of the typical specification of Part L and Future Homes Standard specification for fabric compliance. Additionally, it will introduce the various climate change initiatives and explore the issue of embodied carbon as a primary target on such initiatives and be aware of the comparison for fabric performance against Part L, the Future Homes Standard and the climate change agenda.
