Register as a Referee or Supervisor for the Institute's qualifying process

• Do you have time to help other members and your Institute? If so, would you be willing to support new candidates interested in obtaining our MCIAT qualification?
• There may also be an opportunity to get paid for your time.

If this sounds of interest, then you may like to consider joining our Directory of Registered Supervisors and Referees, who assist candidates to qualify as Chartered Architectural Technologists, MCIAT.

An integral part of the role of the Referee/Supervisor is to ensure that the candidate meets the educational, practice and professional standards outlined within the Professional Standards Framework (PSF) or the Professional and Occupational Performance (POP) Record. This role is usually undertaken by a line manager or work colleague. However, this is not always possible within every workplace. CIAT is therefore establishing a Directory of Registered Referees and Supervisors to be approached by candidates in such situations.

The work can be undertaken at the candidate's workplace, your own, another convenient location or even remotely via telephone and email. You may choose to be paid by the candidate for your time. This would be a matter of arrangement/agreement between yourself and the candidate.
