Consultation: Proposed reforms to the National Planning Policy Framework and other changes to the planning system

Your views invited.

CIAT has been advised of a consultation regarding  Proposed reforms to the National Planning Policy Framework and other changes to the planning system

This consultation is seeking views on the proposed approach to revising the NPPF. It also seeks views on a series of wider national planning policy reforms.

As a member of CIAT we would encourage you to contribute to the response to enable a fair reflection of the membership's views. It is extremely important that the membership gets involved; sending in opinions and comments regarding consultations, so that CIAT can be heard on your behalf.

To create the best response, Sarah May FCIAT, CIAT’s Technical Coordinator, is holding a consultation workshop on Thursday 29 August, 13:00-14:30, which will be interactive and engaging to enable full consultation and gathering of responses with and from members in attendance. What does this mean…you only have to review and respond once, in a room with likeminded people who share the same values and professional experience.

If you would like to attend the workshop, please complete this form which is the general expression of interest form, indicating the consultation you are interested in.

You can also send in your comments/response if you can’t attend the workshop. You can do this by sending your response to [email protected] by Tuesday 10 September, with the subject title Proposed reforms to the National Planning Policy Framework and other changes to the planning system

If you wish to comment on this consultation directly, you can do so by the link here

The deadline to submit any comments to contribute to CIAT’s response is Tuesday 10 September.

The deadline to submit directly is 23:45 on 24 September 2024.
