Donations needed for construction of dogs charity

A dogs charity in Manchester is seeking donations for construction of its new site for rescue dogs.

Dogs4Rescue, an independent rescue home for dogs in Manchester, is looking for donations of building materials and appliances to aid the construction of their second site.

The charity is in the process of opening, and create 20 new rescue spaces, across 41 acres, at a time of unprecedented rescue crisis.

They are seeking donations from companies, tradesmen and individuals for the following:

  • Aggregates
  • 20 tonnes Sharp Sand
  • 700 tonnes large Capping Stone 
  • 130 tonnes road planings
  • 280 tonnes MOT Type 1 
  • Roofing - 250m2 square tiles / cladding 
  • Guttering - 1/2 round gutter 18 x 4m lengths 
  • External timber wall cladding - 158m2
  • Plasterboard - 200m2 
  • Flooring and commercial use floor coverings 191m2 
  • OSB board - 184m2 
  • 12 internal standard doors 
  • Closed cup toilet with seats x 3 
  • Bathroom basin x 3 
  • Standard bath x 1 
  • Electric shower x 1 
  • 600mm kitchen cupboards x 8 
  • 4 x 3m worktop 
  • Sink with draining board 
  • Dishwasher x 1 
  • Chest freezer x 1
  • Fridge x 1 
  • Electric fires 3  
  • Stove log burners x 2 
  • Skip hire
     

In addition to this, they are also looking for help with internal timber, plastering, electrical cable and trunking, plug sockets, lighting, underfloor heating, plumbing supplies, CCTV system, floodlighting, fencing, picket fences and paving slabs.
