IfATE recruiting employers for Route Panels (England only)

The Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE) is recruiting employers based in England to take part in Route Panels to support the revision and development of occupational standards.

This ensures that T level qualifications and apprenticeships are of the highest quality and meet the needs of employers, apprentices, students and the economy.

Route Panels work collectively to:

  • Review and make recommendations to IfATE's compliance board on whether or not to approve apprenticeship proposals, standards and assessment plans, as well as the content of T level qualifications.
  • Make recommendations on funding bands for apprenticeship standards
  • Support and oversee the review of existing apprenticeships

IfATE would like employers to offer their strategic views on the required skills within their relevant sector. They should also understand the type of training, development and assessment that are best suited to develop these skills while understanding future skills needs. The three apprenticeships that CIAT supports fall under the construction route.

Further information about Route Panels and how to apply can be found here. The closing date for applications is midnight on 18 September 2022.
