Member required for Conduct Committee

Would you like to become more involved with your Institute? Do you have an interest in ensuring that standards are maintained? Have you a background in contracts and regulations?

If so, then the Conduct Committee is looking for a new Member.

The Conduct Committee is a dynamic, thought provoking and rewarding Committee which regulates the actions of, and maintains the highest standard of professionalism, expected from members and affiliates.

Membership of the Committee requires the analysis of case papers prior to meetings, attendance at quarterly Conduct Committee meetings and regular discussion/debate by email. Communication by email within relatively short timescales is essential. This work is voluntary and unpaid but we do cover your expenses, in accordance with the expense claims policy.

Following the approval of the Resolution at the 2020 AGM, we have an additional position on the Committee. The tenure for this position will be for two years commencing from March 2021.

As part of the Institute's ethos of inclusiveness and succession planning, we would be interested to receive expressions of interest from Chartered Members from outside Council. Preference will be given to those applicants who have not previously served on the Conduct Committee.

If you are interested in this position, please email [email protected] providing your name, membership number and a statement explaining why you should be considered for the Committee.

Should you wish to discuss this further, please do contact us via the same email.

Expressions of interest should be submitted no later than 31 January 2021.
