Opportunity | BSR Industry Competence Committee - Building Control Working Group

The Building Safety Regulator is looking for current, practising, Registered Building Inspectors to join their Building Control Working Group BCWG.

The BCWG supports the BSR Industry Competence Committee by providing advice regarding building control profession competence, helping to identify and triage emerging issues and acting as consultees for BSR on building control matters as requested. We anticipate that this body will play an important role in shaping the future direction of building control competency requirements, as the Government moves forward with its response to the Grenfell Tower Inquiry recommendations.

Membership entails attending ~8 meetings a year (a combination of virtual and in-person) and plus preparation time outside of meetings.
